Reporting a mistake

If a result looks wrong, the quickest way for us to check it is a link to the page with your numbers filled in. Press the Share button under any result to copy that link, paste it into your email and tell us what you expected to see. We test every calculator before it goes live, but tax rules, prices and exchange rates change, and we would rather hear about an outdated figure today than next month. Confirmed errors are fixed and the page date is updated.

If there is a money goal you would like to plan for and none of our calculators quite fits, describe the question you are trying to answer and the numbers you have, and we will consider building it. You can see how we build and check every tool on our methodology page.

What we can't help with

We can't give personal financial, tax or legal advice by email, recommend specific investments or review your accounts.
